Dream!

In my infinite exhaustion and constantly waking up late, I needed a quick fix for makeup in case I could not take the time to Bare Mineralize, I would have an alternative.

Thanks to my bff Angie and her infinite makeup knowledge (we share), she suggested I try The Dream Liquid Mousse Foundation Airbrush Finish from Maybelline. Concerned about my sensitive skin, she reassured me it was great because her skin is also sensitive and we MUST be picky when it comes to products on our faces.

I set out to try it. They have shades and guess what?! I love it! I wont replace my Bare Minerals for it, but when I'm in a hurry this is definitely a great alternative. It goes on very light, covers up blemishes, and blends great with my skin! I have not had a break out while using it and am very happy with my purchase. Thanks Angie for the recommendation!

Maximum Explosion!

We by now know my never-ending journey concerning mascara. Thanks to my bff Alicia and her amazing lashes, I decided to try The Max Volume Flash Mascara from Rimmel London. It gives my lashes an incredible amount of volume and length. I have been using it for a few months now and was excited to see it featured in the April 2010 issue of Allure Magazine in their Beauty Reporter. They said "The fat brush gave us big, dark lashes that didnt clump or flake all day" (pg. 72) Its definitely true. Try it!

The other mascara that I have been dying to try was the Telescopic Explosion Mascara from Loreal. This mascara is the one where the brush is round, sort of like a little ball. It definitely gets all the corners and separates lashes tremendously. I use it in combination with my Rimmel one because together they give great length!

Its been some time..

WOW! I have not posted any fabulous makeup finds and loves in quite some time! Life changes have been happening, I sort of feel out of control! But with or without control beauty does not have to be put on hold. I still continue to try as many things as possible and have developed some new loves along the way.

In a previous post I mentioned the Butter Shine Lip Collection from Clinique. My favorite color is Baby Baby which is a soft pink but I love its brown/natural variation called Adore You which I discovered just yesterday during Clinique Bonus Time at Macys!! Check it out!
